Mission
The mission of the CIMBUX is to improve the educational standards and foster cultural, social and economic awareness in Buxton/Friendship, Guyana and the United States of America. (U.S.A)
Objectives:
(A) To improve the quality of education through scholarships, seminars, public awareness, school programs.
(B) To afford a medium of exchange and dissemination of information on issues relating to Buxton, in particular, Guyana, in general, the U.S.A and other geographic areas.
(C) To encourage economies of self sufficiency to include training, education, and involvement of knowledgeable personnel to aid in the improvement of quality of life in Buxton/Friendship, Guyana.
(D) To establish a working and useful link with other Caribbean and non-Caribbean organizations through discussions and information exchange.
